Abel Karen Kazinyan (b. 1963, Yerevan) is an Armenian painter whose work threads medieval European iconography with the ornamental traditions of the ancient East. A graduate of the Yerevan Art-Theatrical Institute (1986), he has worked from Moscow since the early 1990s, exhibiting in Aleppo, New York, Geneva, Vienna and Luzern. Member of IFA / UNESCO (1994), the International Art Fund (1998) and the Moscow Union of Artists (2003).
